Being a millennial is hard. People judge you all of the time and truth be told, you were raised with a bit of a shelter over your head. I'm an older millennial but still, a millennial all the same and below, I've uncovered some cold, hard, facts about what it's like to live in our generation.
And you need to really just own it. All of those selfies? They are your hobby. It's the generation we live in.
That is why there are SO many inventions that make doing nothing easier for us. We're the lazy generation most of the time.
Now, I am an older millennial who deals with younger millennials all the time and this is so effing true. Not happy in your current job? Go to another company instead of sticking it out.
Volunteering? You aren't doing that. Most of the time, millennials live for money and want to get paid much more than they are worth.
Seriously. You meet with your manager and you need to understand why you need to do something. Why do you always need to question every single thing?
It's true, you do, but does the manager constantly have to pat you on the head and tell you-you are doing a good job? Really? Truly? Yep, they probably do.
Nobody is going to be in charge of your career or your life. Grow on your own millennials!
Just because you are starting in an entry-level job and you may not be as talented as your bestie doesn't make you horrible. Stop comparing yourself to everyone in the world Millennials!
Millennials I've found are always trying to finish and figure out fifty different things out at once. Slow down and understand, it's about the quality of friends, the quality of the job, the quality of life.
Volunteering or something – it'll round you out, promise.
Don't be so, so eager!
iPhones, everywhere, all of the time.
So give up the excuses folks!
It doesn't. At all.
Versus, thinking you get one because you do your job. Not everyone gets a trophy – or a promotion.
If it's on the internet, it's true, right?
This one can be true for some millennials, but not all.
