1. Affection

Show the world how much you love your friends! Don’t be afraid to hold hands or hug one another. As long as you feel comfortable with them, be affectionate. One of the group picture ideas that you should try out is wrapping your arms around each other’s shoulders. If you don’t have enough room to fit all of you in the frame, have some stand in the back and rest their heads on your shoulders.

2. Jump

You’ve seen these photos before. People find a beautiful outdoor location and then jump into the air. The person in charge of the camera has to try to snap a photo while you’re in midair. Of course, the pictures can be just as great if the camera goes off at the wrong time. It’ll make the photo seem more realistic and the moment more memorable.

3. Dress up

Channel the characters of your favorite TV show or movie. If you love Halloween, then you’ll have a blast dressing up like the characters you love. Even if you don’t want to dress up, you can strike a pose like Charlie’s Angels or pose by a fountain like on Friends. Even if no one else can tell what show you’re trying to imitate, who cares? The pictures are meant for you and your friends, so inside jokes are a-ok.

4. Hands or Feet

If you’re not feeling your prettiest, take a photo of your hands or feet. Before the picture, you can have a spa day and paint each other’s nails. If you have friendship bracelets, wear them! Do whatever you can to spice up the picture. You’re taking it to remember the memories with your friends, so try to make it as creative as possible.

5. Steps

If you have a lot of people that you want to get into a single photo, line up on steps. That way, height won’t matter. You can arrange everyone so that each person is visible. Plus, stairs aren’t that difficult to find. You should easily be able to find a perfect location.

6. Props

If you all have a hobby in common, use props in your picture to represent it. If you all play soccer, take a picture of you holding a ball or while standing in front of the goal. If you’re all always on your laptops, take a funny picture of yourselves hiding behind them. The tone of the picture is up to your gang! Whatever you decide to do, take a picture that represents your friendship.

7. Letters

Each of you can hold up a piece of paper with a letter on it. Spell out any word that you’d like. Maybe it’s the name of the school that you met at or the first letter of each of your names. You can even write messages to or about each other. It’s an easy way to make a creative photo. All you need is a pen and a few pieces of paper.
