'Tis the season for holiday greetings! I love receiving mail from loved ones and the holidays are so wonderful because you know you will be getting Christmas cards in the mail on a regular basis for a few weeks! I think the tradition of exchanging holiday cards is so lovely especially in these modern times when people are so rushed and out of touch with each other. Taking the time to send out Christmas cards lets people know they are in your thoughts with a warm message of holiday cheer. In this digital age, I hope people will continue to embrace the tradition of giving holiday cards. Receiving Christmas cards in the mail always makes me smile!
And at the end of the holiday season, be green by recycling or repurposing your holiday cards. There are many resources on the internet for projects and creative ideas on how to reuse your holiday cards. A good cause to donate your old Christmas cards to is the St. Jude's Ranch Recycled Card Program. They accept many types of Christmas and other occasion cards. Details can be found on their website.
