Playing Christmas music or having a stack of favorite classic Christmas movies to play during your party is nice, too. Another tip to help your gift wrapping party be a success is to ask everyone to bring a couple rolls of wrapping paper. You might even want to ask them to bring a favorite. This can make it more interesting. Asking your friends to bring wrapping paper helps to make sure you have enough and gives you a wider variety to choose from. It’s fun to see what types of wrapping paper your friends bring.

3. Plan out the Space

Wrapping gifts takes space. That’s something you have to factor in when you’re planning your gift wrapping party. You may want to set up some card tables or just make sure there’s plenty of floor space. Either one can work. You could even ask your guests which way they would prefer to wrap their gifts.

4. Set up a Hot Chocolate Station

A hot chocolate station is going to make your gift wrapping party one to remember. It’s a simple idea guests will love. Make some homemade hot chocolate and place in a crock pot to keep warm. Next, you want to set up a little station with all kinds of options that can be added to hot chocolate. This might include cinnamon sticks, candy canes, whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate syrup and marshmallows, to name a few.

5. Bake Cookies

Of course you need cookies to go with the hot chocolate you’re serving. Everyone loves fresh baked cookies and especially during the holidays. There’s another advantage to baking cookies for your guests besides it being a nice treat. They’ll make your home smell amazing. It’ll be the scent that greets your guests as they arrive.

6. Share Ideas

Everyone has their own unique style of wrapping gifts. It’s fun to watch your friends and learn from them. They may have some tricks that make gifts look amazing. They might be able to teach you how to make an intricate bow or give you another unique idea in how to add a bit of glitz to your package. You can share all of your tricks and tips, too.

7. Cover the Easily Forgotten Items

This one’s important. While your friends will most likely remember to bring wrapping paper and maybe even a snack, they’ll most likely forget scissors, tape, ribbons and tags. It’s a good idea to make sure you have enough of each of those for each guest to use. This is such a small thing to cover. You can pick up all of these easily forgotten items at a local dollar store.
