Often times we find ourselves with a larger family than what we imagined. This can become a problem if you cannot fit everybody into one house. Moving closer to family is one of the top reasons to move for many individuals and their families. If your extended family lives far away and you are constantly missing their physical presence as part of your life, starting over in a new home near your family might be a great decision.

UPD:

According to a study by the University of Michigan, individuals who live near their extended family tend to have lower rates of depression and anxiety. Additionally, having family nearby provides a support system for childcare, elder care, and other daily tasks, which can be especially helpful for working parents. Moving closer to family also allows for more frequent and meaningful connections, creating a stronger sense of belonging and community. Overall, being close to family can greatly enhance one's overall quality of life and is a valid reason to start over in a new location.
