1. Game Day Party

The Super Bowl might be over, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t host a party to watch your favorite team play! Invite your friends who also love your favorite team, or if you want to get really crazy invite your friends who are fans of the opposing team! It’s a pretty simple party to host because the entertainment is already supplied, so all you have to do is make the necessary game day snacks! It may not seem very unique, but just a few minutes spent on Pinterest will transform it from a boring game day party to one of the best, different parties to host this year!

2. Outdoor Party

As the weather gets warmer, parties outdoors are a great way to start the summer off right! If you have a pool, host a simple pool party, but it’s great if you don’t, too! If you don’t have a pool, just have a nice garden party, with sweet tea and tiny sandwiches. It’s the perfect way to kick off summer after a frigid winter season!

3. Dinner Party

A dinner party may sound like a boring option when you’re trying to plan and host a party, but with the right people it could be so much fun! If you’re an Office fan, you know just how well Michael’s dinner party went. While we can’t all have Steve Carell at our dinner to liven things up, we can have a dinner party that’s just as hilarious!

4. Girls-Night-in Party

No matter your age, whether you’re 9 or 65, sometimes you just need to hang out with your best girlfriends, and that’s where a girls-night-in comes in. Find your favorite movies, buy your favorite junk food (no guilt allowed), and have the greatest time with your girlfriends! Sometimes girls-nights-in are just necessary for your mental health.

Sunshine and blue skies bring positivity and joy and it's important for every woman to take full advantage of it. Even when stuck indoors, it's still possible to enjoy some good vibes. Check out these unique tips on how to make the most of the weather right at your home. Let's celebrate every beautiful day, no matter where we are.

5. Baking Party

When the holidays get closer as the year begins to draw to a close, host a baking party. You can host one for your friends, your family, or both. It’s a simple and fun way to get your holiday baking out of the way! However, it’s important that you have the kitchen for this. I don’t think it would be a fun time for you to have a ton of people crowding up your kitchen. Depending on how many people you invite, you may be wishing you had an industrial-sized kitchen by the end of the day. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

6. Camping Party

If you’re looking for a cute party for your kids, no matter their age, or maybe you’d just enjoy the outdoors with your friends, a camping party is the perfect option this summer. It is easier now than ever to camp from home, especially since the invention of “glamping.” A night under the stars with your best friends, whether you’re a kid or an adult, is the perfect way to spend a night!

7. Halloween Party

I don’t know if it’s very common, but having a party while kids are trick-or-treating is a great way to spend Halloween as a parent! Invite families over an hour before trick-or-treating begins so the kids can enjoy the party for a little bit beforehand, and then when trick-or-treating starts, the parents get to have fun too! If your kids are too young to trick-or-treat on their own, one of the parents may have to sacrifice the party to go with them, but if they’re older, they can go on their own while the parents enjoy the party! It’s a fun way to celebrate Halloween with your friends!

What do you think? Will you be hosting any parties this year? Have any ideas/themes in mind? Do share!

Could you please post fun games to play at a party and not a board game but actual activities that people will enjoy participating in?

I highly recommend a camping party!! My friends and I all camped across the lake last summer and we had a BLAST!! Best night of my life!! :P
