1

You Can Self-Reflect

The first of many reasons to love being an introvert is that you take more time reflecting on yourself. Because you spend more time either alone or with a smaller group of people, you can spend more time focusing on yourself. You have the ability to hone in on your actions and thoughts. Embrace that you can look inside yourselves and really know the kind of person you are.

2

You Can Be Low Maintenance

If you are constantly going out and surrounded by tons of people, there can be the pressure to always look your best and be composed. By being an introvert, you have more freedom to be relaxed and low maintenance. Don’t feel ashamed of wearing a comfy sweater when hanging out at home. Love the fact that you don’t feel the need to wear make-up all the time.

3

You Are Independent

Unlike extroverts who are more likely to need to be around people all the time, you enjoy being alone. Your independence is one of the many reasons to love being an introvert. You have no second thoughts about being on your own, and in some cases you would even prefer it. Use your independence to your advantage and use your alone time to focus on bettering yourself.

4

You Can Pursue Your Interests

Going along with being independent, you have more time to pursue your interests. If you love to read, paint, whatever it may be, you have the time to spend on it. Because you don’t mind staying in on weekends and being alone, you have more time to do things that make you happy.

5

You Tend to Have Better Concentration

Typically, introverts have been known to have better concentration skills. Your ability to think to yourself helps you focus more clearly on the task at hand. You take the time to go over things and mull things over before presenting them. This skill is especially helpful in the workplace and is incredibly valued by employers.

Famous Quotes

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

You Foster Creativity

Another of the many reasons to love being an introvert is because you have the ability to let your imagination run wild. While extroverts are focusing more on social relationships and expressing their opinions to the world, you can take the time to have fun with your imagination in the comfort of your head. Introverts tend to be more creative than extroverts for this reason. Embrace that creativity both in the workplace and in your every day life.

7

You Appreciate the Subtlety of Life

Just because you don’t comment on the world, doesn’t mean you don’t notice it. As an introvert, you take a closer look at the world around you and value the small details in it all. This talent can be harnessed and turned into a huge advantage for you.

8

You Place Greater Value in Relationships

By having fewer relationships, you can foster growth within them. You don’t have the pressure to create tons of social relationships or constantly be the center of attention. Because of this, you can spend more time building the relationships you have and place greater value in them. As an introvert, your friendships tend to have more depth to them.

Regardless of if you are an extrovert or introvert, there are benefits and downsides to both lifestyles. Sometimes people view introverts as too quiet or not social enough, but hopefully this article opened your eyes to the many reasons to love being an introvert.
