1. Have a Plan
Seriously. I can't stress this enough. Black Friday and learning how to shop on Black Friday is stressful. It took me 2 years to learn that … if I just made a plan before Black Friday was here, I'd be better off. So sketch out where you want to go, what you want to buy and what's worth getting up early for. It'll make all of the difference!
2. Research Door Busters
Now that you have a plan, it's now time to research some of the door busters that are out there! This will actually help you determine what is worth getting up for. One of the first things that I learned when I was learning how to shop on Black Friday was that Kohl's and Best Buy typically have some of the best sales … they also have lines around the entire store – so get there early!
3. Make a List
This all goes hand-in-hand with having a plan before you set out on your shopping adventure. This year, I'm going to purchase everybody's Christmas gifts on Black Friday and to do that, I'm going to end up making a list before I even attempt to go. This will save you time and will make it ten times easier for you when you get to the store!
4. Have Coupons Ready
A lot of people just think that the sales are enough and save them enough money. Did you know that there are actually coupons out there that can help you save a ton of money too? Ladies, snip your coupons before you go and you'll be able to save money, even on sale items!

5. Map out Stores
This is strange, but knowing the store layout before you go will seriously save you a ton of time. Last year, I went to Kohl's on Thanksgiving and mapped out the store, that way on Black Friday, I was able to run through the store and pick out everything easily. It seriously saved me so much time!

6. Have a List of Store Hours
This is important ladies! How are you going to know who is going to be open when if you don't have the store hours? Make sure that you get the Black Friday store hours, as they typically extend and open early.
7. Scout out Sales
Always, always, always – whenever you are learning how to shop on Black Friday, scout out the sales. This means looking in all of the sale ads and also looking online. There are tons of blogs out there that can help you find the right deals!
8. Know when the Sales Start
Some sales have set times that they start out, it's important for you, as a shopper to know when those sales start! Whether they are doorbusters or they are sales that start in the later morning hours, make sure that you know the times! Heck, you could even bring some of the ads with you if you need to!
9. Become Social with Other Black Friday Shoppers
The internet has honestly made a huge difference in the way I shop on Black Friday. I've become one of the freaks that checks out all of the Black Friday blogs all of the time! What that means, is that I've actually become pretty social with my other shoppers – which in turn means that they swap coupons, share tips and even go shopping with me. Who wants to stand in line all by their lonesome?
10. Pay with Cards
Cash takes forever. If you're shopping on Black Friday, make sure you bring the plastic. I promise, you won't be hated by all of the other Black Friday shoppers if you keep it simple and pay with plastic!
