If you stop doing some little, pointless things, then you'll have plenty of time for the more important things in life. Here are a few time wasters that you should really cut out of your routine:

1. Scrolling through Social Media

Scrolling through Social Media Don't start and end your day by scrolling through social media while you're siting in bed. You're always tired when you wake up, aren't you? That's why you should use the time you usually spend tweeting to sleep instead. That way, you'll feel more refreshed in the morning. It's not like one less status update is going to ruin your reputation.

Texting Instead of Calling If you're making plans with your friends, and you're going back and fourth trying to decide on a time and place, pick up the phone and put it to your ear. If you text them to figure out what they want to do, planning could take hours. But if you just call them, you can figure it all out in half of the time.

Turn off Your Wifi When you need to write a paper, turn off your WiFi. If that seems too harsh, then you should at least forbid yourself from logging onto certain websites. You know which ones are the biggest time wasters for you, so don't let yourself log onto them. It's for your own good.

7. Not Asking for Help

If you need help with your homework, or help building your Ikea furniture, seek out someone who can assist you. There's no sense in wasting hours trying to figure things out on your own and then giving up. It's better to do it right the first time instead of being forced to do it over and over again. There's no shame in asking for help.

You don't want to waste valuable time. If you want to get good grades and land your dream career, then you should spend less time on these things and more time working. What do you waste the most time doing?
