1

You Don’t Have Everything Figured out

In their 20s, girls tend to put a lot of pressure on themselves to figure all out. Try not to be so harsh on yourself and don’t worry if you don’t know what you would like to do in your career. Get to know yourself better first, find out what things you like and what things you don’t like doing. Have patience and give yourself a break.

2

You Learn How to Manage Your Budget

A lot of women start to take care of their finances when they are in their 20s. Even though this can be a bit difficult at first, you will learn the hang of it in no time. It’s important to track your monthly income and all your ancillary costs since this will help you understand better how much money you are spending each month and if you are able to save.

3

You Will Cherish Your Friendships

In your 20s, you won’t have as many friends as you used to have since people’s interests change, and so do yours. You will learn to cherish your true friends, the ones who are always there by your side when you need them and support you no matter what.

4

You Will Learn How to Speak up for Yourself

In your 20s, you will acquire new skills (like being assertive) and you will learn how to speak up for yourself and how to ask for what you want without hurting other people’s feelings. You will have the courage to ask your boss for a raise, to tell your friend that she is treating you poorly or to tell the barista that he gave you the wrong drink.

5

You Will Learn That Love Takes Work

Actually, all your relationships will take work but especially your love life. The longer you are in a relationship, the more conflicts you will have to deal with. You’ll need to learn how to communicate better, how to fight fair with your partner and how to solve those conflicts with compromise so that both you and your partner can be happy.

Happiness depends upon ourselves.

Comparing Yourself to Others is a Pointless Thing

In your 20s you’ll learn that there’s no point in comparing yourself to others since everyone is unique, everyone has their flaws and their qualities and that all those comparisons will get you nowhere. Instead, try to compare yourself with an earlier version of you and you’ll discover how much you have progressed and evolved.

7

You Can’t Please Everyone

You will never be able to please everyone no matter what you do. There will always be people who will not like you. So quit being a people pleaser and try to please yourself first! I’m not saying that you should be selfish, just try not to neglect your needs just because you want somebody else to like you. Always be kind to others and try to be the best version of yourself so that people will cherish you for who you are and not for the things you do for them.

In your 20s you will also learn that self-awareness is important, that you shouldn’t take things for granted, that stuff is just stuff and that looks are only skin deep, since beauty can fade with age but what’s inside is what really counts. Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I'm later in my 20s and I'd say over the past year I really learned a lot about who I am and what I want out of this life. Things just clicked, finally.. But not without wreaking major havoc in my life before I started to be self aware

Zanna, how old are you? If you have it all figured out you must be happy, carefree every day and a billionaire.

It took me a few years longer than that. But I've got it now!

That's great Ava!! I'm 23, and I feel like I've learn a lot over these past three years. That being said, I know that there's more to learn during this decade of my life. It's all scary and chaotic but also exciting and beautiful.

Trust me u never grow out of it...

@ Ava good points!

I'm 24 and I've learned a lot about myself. What I actually like and what I don't. What's actually important and what isn't. And more important I don't allow anyone into my life that will impact me negatively.

I'm 21 and In the little time I've been in my twenties Learned that you are your first love and that nobody can't take that away from you.
