If you haven’t been following Corgnelius and Stumphrey, you are missing out. Susan Lee and Justin Brooks, who live in west LA, began posting a daily picture of Corgnelius. It didn’t take long before he’d grown quite a following on Tumblr and Twitter, and this year he was named the most influential Corgi on the internet, and was joined by a younger brother called Stumphrey. Their owners say that the pair can’t bear to be apart, and have started posting an image of them together everyday…which is sure to make your heart melt. Here are some of our faves from the Corgnelius and Stumphrey archives.
How adorable do they look in little bows and ties?! The patriotic color scheme didn’t go unnoticed, either. Next time I’m recruiting, I’m definitely going to look for suited-and-booted dogs. Working with Corgnelius and Stumphrey would be a blast, right!?
This is my go-to picture when I need to cheer somebody up – it’s impossible not to raise a smile for little Stumphrey in his adorable sailors outfit. He looks so cute!!
I can’t decide if he makes a cuter sailor or bee. Those little wings…and he looks so happy! I’m now eyeing up any small dogs that I see – where do you buy tiny dog dress up outfits, again!?
It’s not just people who have fallen for the cutie, either. Internet mobile company Skype is a big fan of the pair, and took the opportunity to send a tiny dog hoodie for Stumphery to model. Yes, we know – it will have been great advertising for the brand. I mean, what’s cuter than a dog in a hoodie?! But you can just imagine him going to work at Skype in this. Adorable.
The pair are very well travelled, with both rocking Disneyland hats featuring mouse ears. Stumphrey looks mischievous in his tiny pink hat, whilst Corgenelius looks rather regal – don’t you just want to give them both a hug?!
This is, apparently, one of Corgnelius’ favorite outfits. It appears the rather adorable canine enjoys dressing up in Star Wars costumes, and the fluffy ears on this one are just heart-melting. I have no idea what he is supposed to be (the only Star Wars films I’ve made it all the way through are the Family Guy parodies), but he looks adorable just the same.
Okay, so Stumpherie’s camouflage isn’t going to fool anyone – those big ears are quite a give away. He still looks beyond cute in this little army style jumper, though. And look at that happy expression on his face…now all he needs is a cute army hat.
It was a tough choice, but this is probably my all-time favorite from the Corgnelius and Stumphery archives. How adorable does he look dressed as a hot dog?! And how small does that outfit make him look?! From the cute way he’s standing to that “oh god, not again” facial expression, Stumphery looks 100% good enough to eat here.
I definitely want a tiny dog now. How much fun would it be to start a Corgnelius and Stumphery style photo album?! A daily snap of your dog looking playful would provide great memories, and be so much fun to look through. Do you know of any other adorable internet pets? Share them with me!
