Scrolling through Social Media
Don't start and end your day by scrolling through social media while you're siting in bed. You're always tired when you wake up, aren't you? That's why you should use the time you usually spend tweeting to sleep instead. That way, you'll feel more refreshed in the morning. It's not like one less status update is going to ruin your reputation.
Texting Instead of Calling
If you're making plans with your friends, and you're going back and fourth trying to decide on a time and place, pick up the phone and put it to your ear. If you text them to figure out what they want to do, planning could take hours. But if you just call them, you can figure it all out in half of the time.
Frequently asked questions
Singing in the Shower
We all love our baths and showers. However, if you feel like you don't have enough time in a day, you should cut down on the amount of time you're in the shower. Don't waste time acting out scenarios in your head and singing along to your favorite songs. Shave, shampoo, and get out of there.
Know Where You’re Going to Avoid Getting Lost
If you're driving to a new area, look it up online before you leave the house. If your GPS tries to take you through traffic, or suddenly stops working due to the weather, then you'll be able to find your way to your destination on your own. You won't waste time driving around for hours until you find the location.
Procrastinating
We're all guilty of procrastinating. However, the next time you need to write an essay or walk the dog, get up and get it over with. That way, you won't have to stress out about all of the things on your to-do list. You might even have some free time at the end of the day where you can relax without worrying about all of the things that you still need to do.

Turn off Your Wifi
When you need to write a paper, turn off your WiFi. If that seems too harsh, then you should at least forbid yourself from logging onto certain websites. You know which ones are the biggest time wasters for you, so don't let yourself log onto them. It's for your own good.
Not Asking for Help

If you need help with your homework, or help building your Ikea furniture, seek out someone who can assist you. There's no sense in wasting hours trying to figure things out on your own and then giving up. It's better to do it right the first time instead of being forced to do it over and over again. There's no shame in asking for help.
You don't want to waste valuable time. If you want to get good grades and land your dream career, then you should spend less time on these things and more time working. What do you waste the most time doing?
