Scary Movie Night
Grab all your friends, blankets, popcorn, candy, and Netflix for a scary movie marathon! If you're not into horror movies, try thrillers or funny Halloween classics that aren't as scary--think "Scary Movie." You'll be sure to stay up all night.
Place a Candy Dish in Your Kitchen
Who doesn't love Halloween candy?! It's hard to have control with chocolate in the house, but you now have a reason to have a bowl of candy out. The nostalgia of trick-or-treating will put you in the festive mood and bring back those childhood memories.
Frequently asked questions
Bonfire
Sitting around the fire with friends roasting marshmallows is literally one of my favorite things to do in the fall. If you can't make a huge bonfire, don't think you can't join in on the fun. Little fire pits are the perfect alternative. Drinks are also a must. Don't forget to tell ghost stories!
Plaid, Sweaters, Scarves, and Boots All Day, Every Day
These are the staples of the season. You can never have too many of these items to mix and match throughout fall. The thing I love about these items is that they can be dressy, but super comfortable. You'll have nothing but cozy vibes.
Pumpkin Patches, Haunted Houses, and Corn Mazes Galore
All of these festive Halloween attractions are a must! You'll have so many Instagram worthy pics that it'll be hard to choose which ones to post.

Baking
There's dozens of fall Pinterest recipes to choose from. Pumpkin bread, candy corn treats, and spooky brownies are great options to bring to parties. Your house will smell amazing!
Read a Thriller
Cooler weather is the perfect time to curl up with a good book. Page turners, like books written by Stephen King and Edgar Alen Poe, are perfect to read when you want to get spooked.
Carve Pumpkins
Is it even Halloween if you don't have pumpkins?! I love to carve traditional triangle designs, but this year I'm going to try something new and paint my pumpkins white with gold accents for a fun change. If you aren't big into carving, buy some glass pumpkins--they're great for Halloween AND Thanksgiving year after year.
Fall Scented Candles
Candles are perfect in literally every room--the entryway, kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. There's no such thing as too many! My favorites are pumpkin spice and sugar and spice by Yankee Candle. I burn them every time I'm home during the fall. Love them! If you live in a dorm or apartment that doesn't allow flames, wax warmers are the next best thing.
