7 Wonderful Women to Remember on Mother's Day ...

With the arrival of Spring, I've been thinking about all the wonderful women to remember on Mother's Day, especially those who are part of my life. Moms do so many selfless things for the people they love all year long, without asking for anything in return, and I think they need to be honored. Mother's Day is a wonderful time to do this. Here are some wonderful women to remember on Mother's Day.

1 Your Mom

Out of the many women to remember on Mother’s Day, your mom should be at the top of your best wishes list. There are so many ways to celebrate your mom on Mother's Day. You could celebrate her by sending her a nice card or by buying her a thoughtful gift. You could arrange to visit with her for a while on Mother's Day, too. If you are unable to visit with her, perhaps you could give her a call just to let her know that you're thinking about her.

Frequently asked questions

2 Your Mother-in-law

Regardless of what kind of relationship you have with your mother-in-law, it’s important to remember her on this special day. This is the respectful thing to do. After all, she is your spouse's parent. This may also help improve your relationship with her. If you decide to celebrate your mother-in-law on Mother's Day and she doesn't appreciate it, you will have the joy of knowing that you did something nice for her.

3 Your Stepmom

If you have a stepmom, I think that it's nice to remember her on Mother's Day. I know that many child and stepparent relationships are strained and this can be a difficult thing to do. If you are not close to your stepmom, you could send her a card to let her know that you're thinking of her. Most stepmoms really appreciate being remembered by their stepchildren.

4 Your Grandma

One of my Grandmas is no longer living, but I always find myself thinking about her on Mother's Day. I can always tell that my mom is a bit sad on Mother's Day because she misses her. If your Grandma or another special lady in your life has passed away, perhaps you could spend a few minutes remembering all the wonderful qualities that they had and how blessed you were to have them in your life. In my opinion, this is one of the best ways to honor these special ladies.

5 Your Sister

I think that it's nice to remember your sister on Mother's Day. My sister is a great mom. My sisters-in-law are wonderful mothers, as well. If you want to remember your sister or sister-in-law on Mother's Day, you don't have to get her a gift if you don't want to. You can send her a card, an email, or a text wishing her "Happy Mother's Day." Just knowing that you're thinking of her on Mother's Day will mean so much to her.

6 Your Wife

I think that it’s very important for wives to be remembered on Mother's Day. They work so hard all year long and they deserve to be remembered on this special day. My husband has given me some very thoughtful Mother's Day gifts over the years. He has given me some very funny ones, too, but I have greatly appreciated all of them.

7 Other Special Ladies

There are many other ladies in our lives that we should remember on Mother's Day. Perhaps you have a best friend who is an amazing mom. Maybe you want to celebrate your daughter, who has a family of her own. Or maybe you have an awesome aunt who has always been there for you when you needed her.

Are you looking forward to Mother's Day? It's such a wonderful day to celebrate moms. Who do you plan to honor this year?
