1. Pretty Little Liars

Do you love drama? If so, this show may become your new best friend. Based off the book series by Sara Shepard, Pretty Little Liars is overflowing with fibs and juicy secrets. The four girls that make up this cast first have to deal with the loss of their fifth member, Allison, but on top of that, they are constantly trying to figure out who her killer is! Throw in a little romance, a creeper who likes to be called "A," and some dangerous adventures and you've got a pretty fantastic show. And if you're like me, it will be hard not to get too caught up in it!

2. The Walking Dead

I had been hearing so much buzz about this show, I just had to check it out. This nail biting series is set in post-apocalyptic period where a group of survivors try to escape being turned into flesh-desiring zombies! This teen show may sound cheesy but the fantastic actors like the oh-so-yummy Andrew Lincoln make this show a masterpiece!

3. Once upon a Time

For all you fantasy lovers out there, here is a show that is sure to make you believe in fairy tales again! All of the characters that compose this beauty are also fairy tale characters! Remember Snow White, Prince Charming, and the oh-so-popular evil stepmother? This series displays an entirely new twist on that old story and so many more! You'll never think of a fairy tale the same way again!

4. Switched at Birth

Switched at Birth is one of my favorite shows for teens because it is embodies what teens go through everyday: drama! The two main characters, Bay and Daphne, start out as two unsuspecting teenagers who have very different lives. But when they find out that the hospital accidentally switched them when they were born, their lives are suddenly thrown into one another's. Being a teenager is hard enough as it is... imagine finding out that you have an entirely new family with a new sister who is deaf! Can you say drama?

5. The Big Bang Theory

If you're a teen who is more into comedy and you like to spend your days laughing, then The Big Bang Theory will definitely tickle your funny bone! The plot revolves around the lives of four incredibly nerdy scientists that you can't resist falling in love with. This show for teens is not one of your typical teen shows, it's even better!

6. Bunheads

Teens are always looking for the fastest, new things to have, do and, of course, watch! This fast-paced series is perfect for the quick-witted teen who is looking for some subtle comedy in a drama filled show. The fast talking main character, Michelle, can act as a role model for all teens by giving advice to her four sassy ballet students. You'll learn something valuable and have a laugh all in the same show!

7. Glee

This teen show definitely has some unique qualities. Glee has managed to take everyday teen issues and turn them into a television show about music! The main characters, a group of teens in their high school glee club, display common teen problems flawlessly while having amazing voices at the same time! They each represent their own personalities perfectly and show teens that there's always something that can connect society in a special way. And for the glee students, that's music!

8. Revenge

The last but certainly not least show for teens is Revenge. This show is perfect for the teen who enjoys being on the edge of their seat! The main character, played by Emily VanCamp, is a vengeful young woman who switches places with an old friend to commit a deed that she feels she deserves. Vengeance isn't just a bad moral to this lady, it's her life!
