Sunday is a weird kind of day. It’s a day when all you want to do is lounge around the house and relax, but on the other hand it is also a day that could be used to make your following week much easier and more stress free! If you always find yourself busy and chaotic from Monday to Friday, then there are plenty of things that you can do on the Sunday to ensure that that is minimised as much as possible. Here are seven Sunday habits to prepare for the week ahead.
Don’t make Sunday feel like Monday by springing right up and into action. Take your time in the mornings and ease yourself into the day; make it really feel like an essential part of the weekend. This means that you will still have plenty of weekday energy by the time your alarm goes off on Monday.
Take some time to write out a to do list for the week ahead. Split up all of your essential tasks so that you don’t have one or two days that are overly busy. It will give you a clear vision of you to best organise your time.
Along with your to do list, make sure that you have a planner, and keep that planner up to date! Add in extra meetings and appointments as you go, and your mind won’t be burdened by having to try to remember everything.
This is one of the best things you can do on a Sunday to make your week easier. Spend a few hours listening to music and making prepped meals for Monday to Friday. This gives you instant free time at the end of the day when you don’t have to come home and spend an hour cooking for yourself every night.
Plan out what you are going to wear every day. You’d be surprised how much time it can save you in the mornings.
Spend some of your Sunday just indulging in whatever type of self care activity you love the best. It will help you to reset for the week ahead.
Get to bed early so that you have the best chance of catching those seven to eight hours with of recommended Zzs that you need to be fully functioning member of society on Monday!
