You Get What You Think

One of the most powerful natural laws of the mind is that you get what you think. You know the saying, “you are what you eat,” which you probably heard a million times growing up? Well, whoever came up with that one was not too far off from a very important law of the mind. The Law of Attraction states that the mind controls what happens in your every day life. The subconscious mind will respond only to mental images. To change your life, you must apply this law by changing your every day thoughts.

The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful natural laws of the mind. It states that the mind is in control of what happens in our lives. We attract into our lives whatever we focus on with our thoughts and feelings. This law is based on the idea that like attracts like, meaning that positive thoughts and feelings will bring about positive experiences, while negative thoughts and feelings will bring about negative experiences.

The Law of Attraction is closely related to the Law of Vibration, which states that everything in the universe vibrates at its own frequency. This means that we are constantly sending out vibrations into the universe, and these vibrations are then returned to us in the form of experiences. By understanding the Law of Vibration, we can use it to our advantage by focusing on positive vibrations in order to attract positive experiences into our lives.

The Law of Attraction can be applied in many different ways. We can use it to attract more wealth, better health, better relationships, and more success. We can also use it to manifest our dreams and desires. All we need to do is focus our attention and energy on what we want to manifest, and the universe will respond accordingly.

Every Thought Causes a Reaction

Believe it or not, your thoughts control your body. Think about it: when you’re stressed, do you feel your stomach tighten? That’s because worry triggers change in the stomach, which could ultimately create ulcers. When you have a panic attack or feel fear, do you feel your heart racing? That’s because anxiety triggers your pulse rate. To test this, think about a lemon and imagine yourself drinking lemon juice. Did you salivate? Boom! Your thoughts create a reaction in your body. I encourage you to monitor your thoughts and redirect them if they are doing more harm than good to your body.

Frequently asked questions

3

Imagination is More Powerful than Knowledge

Have you ever fabricated something in your mind only to discover that you were way off? Like, if your friend stopped answering you and you thought she was mad or didn’t like you anymore but you discovered it was because she was busy or planning you a surprise party or something! That’s because your imagination is more powerful than what your conscious mind deems as the truth. If you plant a seed in your mind it’s enough to make you believe it. This is why it’s so important to re-program your mind to think only thoughts that will raise you up.

4

Your Habits Are Your Life

Everyone has habits, whether they are good or bad. But how many of your habits are destroying you? How many of your habits are helping you? If you’re stuck in a bad habit and think it’s impossible to change, you’re wrong – it’s never too late to learn and concentrate on a new habit! This healing process begins with reprogramming the subconscious mind. If you usually reach for a cigarette because you’re feeling stressed and holding it just comforts you, reach for something else or distract yourself with a friend, a new hobby, or a bottle of water.

5

Do Not Focus on Negative Thoughts

When you woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, what did you think about yourself? When you saw your friend come into school with a new purse, what did you think about yourself? Thoughts are always roaming and it’s clearly impossible to monitor every single thought, but becoming more aware of your thoughts will help you redirect them. If you catch yourself feeling angry, anxious, jealous, or greedy about something or toward someone else, redirect your thoughts to something that makes you feel happy, peaceful, and calm.

Attitude is a Choice

In a nutshell, attitude is the way you look at life…the way you CHOOSE to look at life. The way you’ve perceived things, interacted with people, and thought about yourself since birth are all images and experiences that you’ve had that have shaped you into who you are today. It’s never too late to teach an old dog new tricks, no matter if people will tell you otherwise. We all have a choice. If you want to change your old toxic ways of thinking, you 100% will take the time and energy to dedicate yourself to living a happier and healthier life.

7

Reactions Should Be Managed

Does crying after you get cut or scratched change your situation or heal the wound? No. But does it make you feel better to cry or does your body simply react that way because it’s familiar and inevitable? Yes. Clearly there are things in your life that you cannot control, but I strongly believe that the way in which you choose to control your reaction to something can be controlled and should be managed. Remember how powerful your mind is. Next time you feel like overreacting to something, think about possible solutions and control your reaction.

8

Thoughts Should Be Kept Alive

Spend more time lingering on those thoughts of you on a beach, or you in a nice boat taking a trip overseas, or even you in the leather seat leading your very own company. If you can see something in your mind and attach a positive emotion to that image, you can achieve anything. That’s how the Universe works and that’s the natural law of the mind. You know the expression, “be careful what you wish for”…? Well, be careful what you spend your time thinking about. Your mind is wired to focus on one major idea at a time so use your brainpower wisely.

9

Attitude of Gratitude

Arguably the most important law of the mind is to focus on an attitude of gratitude. Even if you have not yet received an answer to your prayers or requests to the Universe, say thank you to the Universe or to God (or whatever it is you believe in). Believe it or not, if you remain in a thankful state of mind even without your desired request answered yet, your subconscious will connect with the Universe and you will attract it soon enough.

Your new mantras are "What goes around comes around," and "I get all that I ask for." If you can truly believe these natural laws of the mind and apply them to your life, you will see how quickly your life will change. Which law of the mind do you need to focus on the most?

Fabulous!

Point 2, recent research proves that ulcers are not stress related.... But rather are caused by an infection or as a reaction to medication.
