Some People Never Succeed - This is Why ...

By Corina

There are a lot of reasons why some people will never succeed. Kevin Geary once said that “Success happens not by chance, but because you were given a chance and took advantage of it.” and he couldn’t be more right. Not everyone finds success because there are a lot of individuals who just sit around waiting for success to find them. Experts say that while success is relative and subjective, failure is more a “one size fits all” recipe. Just keep in mind that there are no short cuts to any place worth going and that successful people know they are accountable for their actions, choices and behavior. Here are 7 interesting reasons why some people will never succeed:

1. They Don’t Understand the Value of Time

One of the most important reasons why some people will never succeed is the fact that they don’t understand the value of time. I couldn’t agree more with what Richard Branson said: “Any successful entrepreneur knows that time is more valuable than money itself.”. Unsuccessful people lack the ability to dedicate their time towards their goal. If you want to be successful, you need to improve your time management skills and you must learn how to say no sometimes to be able to focus on reaching your goals.

2. They Have Self-Imposed Limitations

Unsuccessful people tend to put limits on themselves and they always find excuses for their behavior, but their behavior is really a way of underachieving and aiming low enough to not miss. Don’t think that you only have a specific set of skills for specific tasks! You’re just as talented and intelligent as everyone else so make the most of yourself, for yourself and for other people too.

3. They Define Success Wrongly

David Bly said that “Striving for success without hard work is like trying to harvest where you haven’t planted.”. Unsuccessful people tend to define success wrongly. Success is not something innate or something that you can win; it’s actually something you can earn by working hard and by dedicating yourself 100% to reaching your goals.

4. They Don’t Take Action

Most unsuccessful people tend to be intimidated by the challenges they will face in their path. They dream really big but they lack the courage to put their dreams into action. Dreams are not bad, but if you want to be successful, you need to take action, so go and do something to fulfill your dreams.

Sunshine and blue skies bring positivity and joy and it's important for every woman to take full advantage of it. Even when stuck indoors, it's still possible to enjoy some good vibes. 5. They Give up Too Quickly

Unsuccessful people tend to give up too quickly when things get a bit uncomfortable. They can’t face adversity and they are afraid to fail. If you want to be successful, you need to learn how to conquer your fears and you must step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself.

6. They Set Unrealistic Goals

Most unsuccessful people set unrealistic goals; they try to reach their objectives by taking short cuts. They don’t think about the steps they need to take to fulfill their dreams and they don’t make plans regarding how they will obtain what they want.

7. They Are Resistant

Unsuccessful people are usually resistant to change, they are inflexible and they don’t have an open mind. They don’t like opening themselves up to change, they have set opinions and they don’t look to see how many paths there are available to them.

Unsuccessful people are apathetic, they are good at making excuses and they lack the ability to focus. Do you know any other reasons why some people will never succeed? Please share your thoughts with us in the comments section!
