Do you ever have a bunch of coupons that you have no use for? Don't pitch them out! Go to the local grocery store and play "coupon fairy", by placing the clipped coupons with the corresponding item for somebody else to find!
Do you ever see grocery carts all over the parking lot waiting to scratch vehicles? Help out the parking lot attendant who has to hard work and is underpaid.
Write an old-fashioned letter to someone you either know or do not know. Maybe a soldier, a sick friend, a person that does not get out much, etc.
Give gently used clothing, books, household items, etc. to a local thrift store.
Create drives to collect either blankets, toiletry bags, groceries etc. for homeless people.
Give of your time to take someone grocery shopping, to an appointment, etc.
They say smiles are contagious! Give someone a compliment and a smile!
