Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked, strained pumpkin (fresh or canned)
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups evaporated skim milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Directions

Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF. In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin, sugars, and spices. Gradually add the eggs and evaporated milk, mixing until smooth. Pour the filling into your pie shell and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350ยฐF and continue baking for another 45 minutes.
