Dedication

Dedication What shows your dedication better than having something printed on your body that will remain there forever? As long as it’s not inappropriate, employers should be happy to see that type of dedication. When you make a choice, you stick with it. Isn’t that what they’re looking for in potential employees? One of the reasons why tattoos shouldn’t be taboo is because it shows that you’re willing to make a decision that will stick with you forever.

UPD:

In addition to showing dedication, tattoos can also be a form of self-expression. They allow individuals to showcase their personal beliefs, values, and interests through art on their own bodies. This can be seen as a positive trait in the workplace, as it shows creativity and individuality. Furthermore, tattoos have become increasingly popular in society, with a 2019 study estimating that 30% of Americans have at least one tattoo. This means that employers may be limiting their potential pool of candidates by discriminating against those with tattoos. Allowing tattoos in the workplace can promote diversity and inclusivity.

2

Passion

Passion Another quality that everyone claims that they admire is passion. Getting a tattoo that represents your love for a person or song or hobby shows that you’re passionate about it. It shouldn’t be shameful to declare your love for something. Did you get a tattoo of a stack of books to show your love for reading? You should be commended for the design, not frowned upon.

UPD:

Passion is a powerful emotion that drives us to pursue our interests and hobbies. It is often seen as a desirable quality, and getting a tattoo to represent our passion for something is a way to show our dedication and commitment. In fact, studies have shown that people with tattoos are more likely to be passionate and creative individuals. Additionally, tattoos can serve as a reminder of our passions and keep us motivated to continue pursuing them. So instead of being judged for our tattoos, we should be celebrated for embracing and expressing our passions through them.

3

Creativity

Creativity If you’re creative, then you’re probably interested in tattoos. They’re a means of expression and can show the world who you are. If you’re an artist, you can create your own tattoo. If you’re not artistic, you can get someone to draw out your idea for you. Either way, you’re helping to create something out of nothing. It’s the perfect form of creativity.

UPD:

Tattoos have been a part of human culture for centuries, with evidence dating back to ancient civilizations. However, they have often been stigmatized and viewed as taboo, especially for women. In recent years, there has been a shift towards acceptance and celebration of tattoos, with more women choosing to get inked. This can be attributed to the creative aspect of tattoos, where individuals can express themselves through unique designs and symbols. In fact, tattoo artists are now recognized as legitimate artists, with their work being displayed in galleries and museums. This further highlights the creativity and skill involved in the tattooing process.

Individuality

Individuality In this day and age, everyone tries to set themselves apart from the rest of the world. Everyone wants to be unique, to be their own person. When you get a tattoo, you get to choose the design and location of it. It’ll make your body different from anyone else you meet. It’s a creative way to show your individuality and express yourself.

UPD:

Tattoos are the ultimate form of self-expression; they're like a personal billboard announcing your likes, passions, or beliefs to the world. Whether it’s a quote that resonates with your soul or artwork that speaks to who you are, each inked symbol is a chapter in the story of your life. And as every chapter is wholly original, so is every tattoo, making your skin a unique canvas that celebrates your journey. Embracing this form of art not only asserts your independence but also honors your individual narrative that's as distinctive as your fingerprint.

5

Courage

Courage Getting ink takes courage. Even if you get a small tattoo, you still have to deal with needles. The pain is temporary, but it can hurt quite a bit. Anyone who decides to go through the pain of voluntarily having needles stick into their skin deserves to be praised. Of course, the end product is worth the pain.

Memories

Memories Some have tattoos of crosses with the names of loved ones sprawled across it. Others have paw prints or portraits of their pets or babies. Getting a tattoo is a way to preserve a memory or praise the dead. How could anyone fault you for representing such a big part of your life? Be proud of your decision.

7

Happiness

Happiness If someone disapproves of something that makes you happy, ignore their opinion. If you want a tattoo, get a tattoo! The aim of life is to enjoy it and be as happy as you can be. Don’t let society tell you that the thing that makes you happy is wrong. There’s nothing wrong with getting a tattoo, as long as your idea is well thought out and you receive it from a reputable, cleanly shop.

Whether or not you’re a fan of tattoos, you shouldn’t shame those who love them. Do you have any tattoos? If not, are you planning on getting any?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

That's my picture on number 3 :) I agree with this article 100% I have nothing but good comments and my tattoos never seem to cause an issue with anything so far in u life at all. I'm well brought up, I work and now have even more tattoos. :)

Love this so much

I have 4 and its addictive. Once you have one you want more! They all have a meaning to me, but i find them also beautifull. If they were not so expensive i would have had already more. And btw, im a nurse and my tattoos are "hidden" so when colleagues find out they are always surprised.

I'm sorry but employers aren't happy to see ink even if you are dedicated. It's not professional. If it's discreet and hidden then sure why not? But if it's loud and out there then you won't work for any big corporation.

This is so perfect

I am heavily tattooed and people always ask me what will I do when I'm old? Does it matter I'm happy and I love my living art. I also don't think it should make a difference to employers (as a manager myself) but sadly we still have a way to go.

I have one tattoo and I love it! I am very proud of my decision and I am looking forward to getting a second one! Thanks for this article it's dead on!
