As we set ourselves to create a social circle, we start sharing friendship and happiness. Nonetheless, as time passes, we find our initial friendship and our initial happiness is leading us to more challenges. Perhaps routine, laziness, momentum or skepticism about our own capabilities. We eventually find ourselves trapped in a cave of loneliness with an uncommon image about ourselves. In such times, it’s important to grab ourselves and question our worthiness. Here’s why I’m going to share with you four agreements to guide your personal freedom, which, according to the Toltec, is our true mission in life.
Word is not just something you hear or spot; it is much powerful than you think it is. Apparently, the words we use against ourselves are the result of poison. Through this poison, our negative words about ourselves seem to, most often than not, punish us because they create a different reality about our truths. So choose your words wisely with total consciousness. With positive words, you can dash fear away and live a different life. You can live in heaven in the middle of hell.
Nothing others do is because of you. What others do or say is a projection of their own reality. As said before, words can turn out to document our reality which in turn reveals our actions. So what others tend to show is a result of their own fight with their own words and thoughts. See, it’s not about you.
If you still believe that others are doing wrong to you on purpose, may I suggest you to stop creating assumptions? Well, let me tell you that great communication will serve you with benefits. Communicate with people around you clearly to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama.
The mantra “Practice makes Perfect” stands true here. I know you might get tired, unmotivated and think about giving up, but I also know you can do it. No matter how many times you fell down, YOU CAN DO IT. I also know that once you set a vision, you’ll be empowered with conquers. So, under any circumstance, do your best to avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.
