Embraer Lineage 1000 The Embraer Lineage 1000 was a commercial airliner, until they took out most of the seats and added a lot of work to it. The huge plane now seats just 19 passengers. This plane, which costs nearly $45 million, includes couches, chairs, and bedrooms with showers. It’s equipped with extra fuel tanks, allowing it to travel 5,179 miles. Owned by Jorge Vergara, this luxurious airplane is one of the most comfortable planes that you’ll likely never get to fly in.

Gulfstream G650

Gulfstream G650 A step up from the G550, the Gulfstream 650 is owned by Warren Buffet and Oprah. Costing $65 million, this insanely fast jet is not yet available to the public. The jet tops out at 704 mph. Gulfstream is taking orders, but the line is capped at 200. The jet is so in-demand that people have sold their place in line for millions of dollars.

Gulfstream G550

Gulfstream G550 You can't have a list of the most luxurious aircrafts without including the Gulfstream G550. This 14-passenger aircraft receives strong kudos on this list because the comfy features are so vast everyone should place a G550 ride on their bucket list. Once onboard you'll see leather seating, a conference table, and not one but two bathrooms. Heat your own meals in a high-temperature oven — or pay someone to do it for you. You can also pay attendants to turn on the dishwasher or keep your beverage constantly cool from one of the two ice makers onboard. Dine on china and drink from crystal glasses. Access the web while flying — you can also fax and print like the President on Air Force One. Want some entertainment? Simply turn on one of the two DVD players, watch movies on your choice of a 20-inch, 17-inch or 7-inch LCD monitor. Sixteen stereo headphones and four subwoofer speakers round out this plane.

BMW Airbus A350

BMW Airbus A350 First seen at the Aircraft Interiors 2006 Expo in Hamburg, Germany, the Airbus A350 offers tons of "cozy" features. Mood lighting is projected to the ceiling — think Caesars Palace in Las Vegas here, where the skies change from sun to clouds to night, to get an idea of the lighting on the Airbus 350. The luxury cabin has top of the line comfort in seating and amenities, including a bar area and a dome sort of entrance for each class — first, business, and economy. Overhead bins are larger and redesigned for optimal packing on this first-class jetliner.

Famous Quotes

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Boeing's 787 Dreamliner

Boeing's 787 Dreamliner Step aboard the 787 Dreamliner to experience what Boeing calls a "Dream Space." Expect to see the Dreamliner as a new addition to the Aeromexico Airlines fleet, so travelling internationally or to Mexico will be a delight. Vaulted ceilings, spacious surroundings, and unmatched window views will be the first thing you notice on the Dreamliner. LED mood lighting turns on in a snap, depending on time of day and time zones. Also, with one touch of a button you're able to have darkened windows to keep the sun at bay. The 787 Dreamliner offers reduced engine noise for a quieter ride, touch-free lavatory controls, and it uses less fuel and emits fewer emissions — what's not to like?

Etihad Airways' Diamond Seat

Etihad Airways' Diamond Seat There's a reason the Diamond Seat plane has the word "diamond" in it. Imagine sitting in seats that rotate 180 degrees so you can chat with friends, hold a meeting, or chill with a cold one. Or, what about a 23-inch personal LCD video screen for crisp entertainment? Need mood lighting? The Diamond Seat has that too. If rotating 180 degrees isn't your thing, the seats also come with a six-way movement headrest. If you're feeling a little achy, turn on the built-in massage to relax those tired muscles. If you are extremely tired, the seat also turns into a six-foot flatbed, so nap away. The Diamond Seat also boasts personal mirrors, lumbar support, reading lights and desk lamps, a coat room and a mini-bar.

Airbus A380 VIP Flying Palace

Airbus A380 VIP Flying Palace Looking at picture of the interior of this plane, there's no question as to why it is called a flying palace. Seriously there's an office that could be used as a board room, a cocktail bar with a massive television, a space for private dining, and cozy seating that can be used to relax. Who wouldn't want to fly like that? This plane is like arriving at a hotel before you even arrive at your destination! While the office is a nice touch, chances are you'll never want to step foot in it unless you're traveling for business, but even then everybody has to relax sometime.

Boeing 747-400

Boeing 747-400 This plane was originally built to fit more than 400 passengers, but in 2003 the prince of Saudi Arabia bought it and decided to have it redesigned. This plane now includes two bedrooms, a dining room that can fit up to 14 people, and a throne right in the middle of the plane. There are 11 flight attendants that fly with the prince to make sure he has a good flight. I guess it doesn't hurt to be a prince.

10

Gulfstream III

Gulfstream III This plane was basically designed to be a flying movie theater. You think people having home theaters is amazing, try plane theaters! This plane is fully equipped with blu-ray players, iPod docks, a satellite television, a 42 inch screen and window shades to help you enjoy your movie. It's likely that flying on this plane will leave you never wanting to go to a movie theater again! This makes you think, if you were to design a planes interior, would you model it after something like music, movies, television, or books?

Boeing 747-81

Boeing 747-81 This plane has to be my favorite on the list. There's one feature that I am truly obsessed with: a spiral staircase. The plane also has vaulted ceilings and video displays on the walls. This house makes me think of a mansion in the sky. It's amazing the types of things that can be put into a plane. With amenities like this, who would ever want to land?

There is luxury in the air, so gather your travel miles and book a flight on one of these jetliners. If you want to ride on the Gulfstream, find a rich BFF who has one.

I would have loved to be able to see the inside of all of them. Like what you showed for the last one

Wow cool article :)

You forgot Emirates I love flying with them. Every cabin has their own little shower and dressing area so you feel refreshed before you land. And you get a great sleep.
