Being unemployed sucks. Under-employment is a wild panic a minute, too, and being on the verge of unemployment is its own special brand of hell. You learn a few things about yourself and about the working world. which is awful whether you're a recent grad who can't get a job or if you're unexpectedly under- or unemployed and haven't looked for a job in forever. Plenty of you will recognize a few of these hard truths, and if you don't, well, maybe keep them in mind for the future so you can prevent them from hitting you quite so hard. ## 1.
