1. In a Study of 200,000 Ostriches over a Period of 80 Years, No One Reported a Single Case Where an Ostrich Buried Its Head in the Sand
This is one of my favorite interesting facts of them all! When I was growing up, I only remembered what an ostrich was because I knew it was the bird that buried its head in the sand! I can’t believe that not 1 in 200,000 ostriches in 80 years buried its head! Unbelievable!

Ema: Ok thank you for the article, but some of those facts aren't true. For example, I got this answer from wiki, "Brain cells do NOT die when a person sneezes. First, if you observe a baby and toddler and counted how many times they sneeze before 2 years old, if your question was true, NO one would have a brain". I think it's important to know the facts before we state them as truths, as we can scare people for no reason. ---Ladies lets try to bear in mind that not everything that we read here is true; it can be fun to read, but this is it. This is not a scientific journal/blog
char: I tend to agree that breast is best and makes babies smarter! There are a lot of different aspects to this including why formula was and babies in hospitals were introduced in the first place. There's a lot of health awareness out there now that tells us to go back to nature. After doing my research on what's actually in formula I was shocked! I'm not discrediting it's benefits, or anyone's choice to use formula. I think it's great that we can support one another's choice and agree to disagree. No one should be shamed into raising their baby in a way they are uncomfortable with.
