How gorgeous is this bag? If you have never sewn a bag before, this is an easy** U-Handbag tutorial** that will give you a good push. I suggest that you use a fabric as gorgeous as the one Lisa used here so that you will be incredibly proud of what you made. Something in the girly and floral range so that it will complement the bamboo handle quite nicely.

To say that I am in love with this fabric is an understatement. I will readily admit that I want a skirt, an apron, some curtains for my craft room, and yes, a bag with this adorable robot fabric. This one is made of oilcloth. I have always wanted to use oilcloth for sewing but I can't find the right machine foot for it. Yes, mine didn't come with a non-stick foot.
