The Foot

The Foot The foot is a very popular spot for a woman to choose to get a tattoo. It is often chosen because it is one of the most feminine spots for a tattoo. After all, you don’t see very many men choosing that spot for their location, do you? Women often have floral designs tattooed there or verses of some sort. A tattoo placed here looks really nice in a pair of heels.

The Inner Wrist

eyebrow, face, beauty, photography, eyelash, Another often chosen placement for a lady's tattoo is the inner wrist. I really like this placement. It is such a delicate area of the body and can remain hidden until her arm is turned. It is almost like it is her own little secret. This makes it a very feminine spot for a woman to get a tattoo.

Frequently asked questions

Feminine spots for a tattoo often include the wrist, ankle, back of the neck, inner arm, and hip area. These areas are popular because they can be easily shown or concealed and are often associated with delicacy and subtlety.

Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but generally, areas with thinner skin or closer to bones, like the ankle or wrist, might hurt more. Softer areas, like the inner arm or hip, may be less painful.

Consider a design that complements the area's shape and size. Delicate patterns, flowers, small symbols, or meaningful words are popular choices. Think about the size and intricacy that'll look good on the chosen spot.

Yes, tattoos on most feminine spots can be easily hidden under clothes or jewelry, which allows for discretion in professional or formal settings. Spots like the inner arm or hip are especially easy to conceal.

Aftercare for tattoos in feminine spots is similar to other areas. Keep it clean, avoid sun exposure, don't submerge it in water, and apply healing ointment as directed by your tattoo artist. Wear loose clothing over the tattoo to prevent irritation.

Down the Side of the Ribcage

Down the Side of the Ribcage This is another lovely location for a woman to get a tattoo, but this choice could be a bit problematic. If a woman gains a lot of weight, it could affect this tattoo. It could also be affected in a pregnancy when a woman’s breast size typically changes. But, with special care, this could be a very good choice. It is also very feminine in choice.

UPD:

3. Down the Side of the Ribcage is a popular and feminine location for a tattoo, as seen in the article "13 Very Feminine Spots for a Tattoo." However, it is important to note that this choice may pose some challenges. A significant weight gain or pregnancy can affect the appearance of the tattoo, but with proper care, it can still be a beautiful choice. This location is often chosen by women due to its delicate and feminine nature. It is important to carefully consider the potential changes to the body before getting a tattoo in this area.

4

The Shoulder

The Shoulder A shoulder is another choice that women typically choose for a tattoo placement. They sometimes do it on the back of their shoulder or even on the top of the shoulder and trailing downward. This tattoo would most likely not be as painful as some of the other locations mentioned, yet it is still a very feminine location. This is especially true if the placement is on top of the shoulder and trailing downward.

UPD:

The shoulder is a popular choice for a tattoo placement for women, as it is a very feminine area. It can be placed on the back or top of the shoulder, and the top placement usually trails downward. The pain level of this placement is usually lower than other areas, making it a good choice for those who are less tolerant of pain. Women may also opt for a shoulder tattoo if they want to keep their tattoo more discreet, as it's an area that can be easily covered up. Whatever the reason, the shoulder is a great spot to get a beautiful and feminine tattoo.

The Back

The Back Many women choose to have a tattoo placed on their back. They can go in many different directions with this choice. Some choose a low placement and some go higher or for a fuller length of tattoo. These are very pretty when a woman wears a bikini in the summertime or in other summer clothing. Many different designs work well here, too.

UPD:

The back is one of the most popular places for women to get tattoos, as it is a large canvas that can be used to create intricate designs. Women can choose from a variety of designs, such as floral patterns, geometric shapes, animals, and abstract art. The placement of the tattoo can vary, from a low placement on the back to a full-length tattoo.

Tattoos on the back can also be used to express personal values and beliefs. For example, some women may choose to get a tattoo of a religious symbol, such as a cross or a star of David. Others may opt for a phrase or quote that is meaningful to them.

When it comes to the pain associated with getting a tattoo on the back, it is generally considered to be a low to moderate level of pain. However, it is important to note that the pain level can vary depending on the size and placement of the tattoo.

The healing process for a back tattoo is generally the same as any other tattoo. It is important to keep the area clean and moisturized, and to avoid touching or scratching the tattoo. Additionally, it is important to avoid direct sunlight and swimming for a few weeks after the tattoo has been applied.

The Hand This is a choice recently gaining popularity for a woman to be tattooed. For a long time, hand tattoos on a woman were considered somewhat taboo. But as tattoos are slowly becoming more acceptable, so is their visibility. This is a pretty spot for a woman to choose and one she will get to enjoy often because it is so easily in her line of sight. One thing to consider is that some public places of work do still have a problem with tattoos and it could be a factor in gaining employment.

Behind the Ear

hair, face, hairstyle, nose, forehead, It's soft and tender back there, which are both classic feminine traits, so what better place to put a tattoo than behind your ear. True, you'll have to consider size and detail since the area is so small, but it's a great place if you want something meaningful that isn't super large. And, you can cover it with your hair or a bit of make-up so it's still appropriate for the workplace.

The Tailbone

10

The Ankle

leg, tattoo, arm, skin, thigh, The ankle is perfect for a small girly tattoo. It doesn't hurt as bad as other body parts, but it allows you to show off your feminine side. 11

The Breast

hair, human hair color, blond, hairstyle, supermodel, Sure, it might sag with age, but the side of the breast is becoming an increasingly popular spot for girls to have tattoos inked. 12

The Hip

human action, person, grass, muscle, arm, What's more feminine than a curvy woman's hip? So when you think about getting a tattoo, this is a very good spot. Whether you opt for a delicate flower, a whimsical butterfly, or a meaningful quote, this area allows for personal expression that's both intimate and stylish. Great ideas!

I wonder if the girl with the neck tattoo knows what that saying means...

I have the Japanese love sign on the back of my neck :)

Hello lovely women of AllWomenStalk!! :) If this article is still circulating and hopefully people are still commenting(as I don't know how recent these comments are since it won't show me that), could you ladies please help me out with the following and comment your opinions? Thanks! Okay so firstly, I have yet to have any tattoos but have become more and more increasingly find of them and most definitely want a few now, despite how admittedly scared I am and how much my parents and family will disagree haha.. x3 Anyways! First question is, somewhat unfortunately, the main and only place I've ever really wanted a tattoo before seeing articles like this is my lower back. However, as the article mentions, that is unfortunately known as the "tramp stamp" and from everyone I've talked to including friends having a tattoo there seems to just immediately mark you as trampu, slutty, etc. :/ It is not my intention nor wanting to be any of those but this is just my experience, what do all of you think of lower back tattoos? I saw that some of you have them, but have you experienced overly trouble with it? What do you all think about possibly getting a tattoo there because I like that area of my body, or is it not worth the silly criticism? Secondly! I'm going to school for performing arts and although I'm aware many many actors have tattoos of all sizes, does anyone know if having tattoos whether large or small possibly decrease your chance of receiving roles, at auditions, etc? Any help and advice is much appreciated, and you can also reach me on Pinterest @SunlitStarlet! Sorry for the crazy long comment, but thank you in advance!! :)

I got my first one on my lower back (painful), then on my wrist (not painful surprisingly) and my last one on the back of my neck (didn't hurt as much as my lower back tattoo). I do agree though, the rib cage is an awesome place for a tattoo, wish I did my first tattoo there

Hehe really enjoyed The slides :P feeling like I too should have one on my ankle :)

I have 4 tattoos- one right above my outer left ankle bone ( an anchor w/ snowflakes above it), one on my right outer calf ( 3 intertwined hibiscus flowers), one on my lower right stomach beside my belly button ( a shooting star with a butterfly riding on the trail), and one on the right side of my back on my shoulder blade ( a fairy standing on a bed of flowers with a dove flying above it) the only one that really hurt was the one on my back, the others were alright. Everyone's pain tolerance is different it also depends on your artist, how many needles they are using and the size/ location of it.

I've got one on my inner wrist, I wanted it in a spot that was private yet not hidden! Also contrary to belief, wasn't painful at all! The next one will be the base of the neck. :)

I have a cat on my foot, love always written on my inner wrist, feathers on my left ribs, the word loyalty on my right ribs, a celtic 3 leaf clover on my shoulder blade, and a flower on my lower back. Almost one in every spot! haha
