9 Songs of 2012 That I Love ...

Karmin is actually one of my favorite artists and this is one of the songs of 2012 that is amazing! I've heard it on the radio so much, but I can't get sick of listening to it! It's such a great break up song, but it's also peppy. If you want a pop song, this is the ultimate one!

Maroon 5 is absolutely one of my favorite bands. In fact, in February, I plan on seeing them in concert! So it would only make sense that this is one of my top songs of 2012! It's so up-beat, totally awesome and the video is even better! What's one of your favorite songs, girls?

I love this song. I'll admit it to anyone in the world, it is absolutely the best song! Not only is it fun (ha!), it's also so folky and definitely one of the most unique songs out there. I love the singing, the way the video is set back in time and all of the folkiness to it.

Mumford & Sons is actually a new band for me, and while I love their older stuff, their newer album is pretty awesome. Take this song, for example! Not only is this song awesome, but the entire album is really good too! This is my favorite song from their new CD. I love the way it starts, the lyrics and everything about it!

I would say the best thing about this particular song of 2012 is the video. It's totally one of my favorite videos and I've got to say that Carly is so friggin' cute! Just looking at her sing and dance really makes me want to sing and dance! This is the perfect song to bellow out in the shower – but it isn't embarrassing at all to blast in the car!

As you can probably see, my music tastes run from folky all the way to poppy and that's exactly what this song is! It's folky with a twist of something different. I love the voice, love the video, love the beat and I think that the lyrics are amazing! This might be one of the over-played songs on the radio, but it's totally my favorite!

Who doesn't love The Lumineers? Not only is their entire album awesome, but this song? It's the best! I love the beat, love the words and did you know that the girl in the band, they actually found on Craigslist? So strange, right? What's your favorite song by The Lumineers?

Maroon 5 is not the only band that I am seeing in February, the Neon Trees are going to be there too! I can't wait to see them perform this particular song in concert. Not only is it cool, different and totally up-beat, but it's a great gym song, a great dance song and totally an awesome put-me-in-a-good-mood song!

Finally, you might not have heard of this band, but if you have a chance, you've got to take a look at some of their songs. This is and 'Ready or Not' are both my favorite songs by this band. It's fast-paced, a little different than the mainstream and it just puts me in a great mood!
