1

Happy Medium

The reason why being a teenager is great is because it is the only time of our life when we find a happy medium between childhood and adulthood. We can blame our immaturity for the childish things that we do but still use the ‘I am almost an adult’ card when convenient. Other times, we can somewhat enter the adult life without having to take on all of the responsibilities that come with it. If you think about it, teenagers are like the anchors that tie together the childhood life and the adult life.

UPD:

In addition to the happy medium between childhood and adulthood, there are several other reasons why being a teenager is great. For example, teenagers have more freedom to explore their interests and passions. They have the opportunity to try out different activities, such as joining clubs, taking classes, and participating in sports. Teens also have access to more resources than ever before, such as the internet, which provides them with information and resources to help them learn and grow. Additionally, teenagers have more access to mentors and role models who can provide guidance and support. Finally, being a teenager is a great time to develop important life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making, which will benefit them in their future.

2

An Excuse to Try Different Things

Teen years come with exploration opportunities. It is absolutely acceptable for teens to change their hairdos or fashion style whenever they feel like it because after all, we have to try it all before we find one that depicts our true selves. We call those periods of change ‘phases’ and we all go through them, no matter how embarrassing it is to look back at them.

UPD:

Being a teenager is a great time to explore and express yourself. Trying new hairstyles and fashion styles can be a fun way to experiment and find out what works best for you. It’s important to remember that everyone goes through different phases as a teenager, and it’s perfectly ok to look back on them with a bit of embarrassment. It’s also a great opportunity to try new things and push yourself out of your comfort zone. Trying different activities, foods, and hobbies can help you discover new interests and talents, and you might even find something that you’re passionate about.

More Freedom, Less Responsibilities

Another one of the perks of being a teenager is finally having freedom and control over your life. THis is sooo trueeeeeee! thank you for standing up for the truth!

@Esther hahah thanks

This list is okay, but in reality, #1 is the complete opposite. Every time you make even the smallest screw up, like forgetting a small homework assignment, its "You're almost an adult! Start acting like one!" And any time you want to have fun (not even bad fun), it's "You're not old enough! You're practically a child!" Its only "convenient" for authority figures. More like unhappy medium.

#5 MAybe not

And now I can make a "7 worst things.." list because I disagree. Sorry!

This is definitely not for an African teenager especially not Nigerian

I think some of these points are right, but some of them are completely opposite. Like, as teenager, I wasn't have the freedom because my father was very strict. The only thing I like about teen years is less responsibilities.

I don't know about more freedom, I'm a teen right now

Thanks for helping ☺️😌

Lol okay
