I don't understand #3, I pronounce the t in battle, otherwise it's bale.

Embarrassing and pointless.

So the British accent has been generalised to a London accent...as a Brit not feeling this article:/

It's so frustrating when Americans think British people speak SO posh. NO one speaks like this in Britain unless you are rich, or well educated (verbally). We say most of the words Americans say everyday it's just the movies that make Americans think we all speak that posh. There are different accents in different areas like in America. I can assure you that if you ask any evetyday British person if they are extremely posh, eat crumpets everyday, drink afternoon tea, etc. They will most likely say NO! Sorry about the rant but I get annoyed of these dated views on the British

Goodness I am British and I am cringing as we speak...

Britain is a group of different countries, there's no such thing as a 'British accent'- there's an English accent, a welsh accent, a Scottish accent, and a northern Irish accent. Lol

I'm from Scotland (part of Britain, since you didn't seem to realise that) and my accent is literally nothing like this
