The best valentine's present ever was that we were ACTUALLY together valentine's weekend. We live 5 hours away during the spring and fall semesters so it was the first time in 2 years we had a valentine's day together! He gave me a great weekend of love and a pretty pair of pearl earrings :)

On our first valentine’s, which was my first valentine’s EVER. We agreed to not buy any gifts, but to give each other things that mean something to us. Like a childhood memory, or a scrap book or a certain charm..just anything. So i gave him my very very cherished scrap book, and that certainly had my life in it, it was like a diary. And he gave me his necklace and his favorite book which he never ever allowed to lent to anyone (thats how precious it was). It was our first year together and that certainly made us closer to each other. We r married now :)

My boyfriend came over to my place for lunch & told my roommates that he was getting me "naked for Valentine's Day". I laughed it off, telling him "You wish!" Later, he brought me a present--it was an Urban Decay Naked Palette! I guess he did get me "Naked" for V-day after all...

This year was really good for me. i have been married 31 years and this tear on Valentines day , my husband was at work. I was awakened by the sound of a door slamming and I got really scared. I looked out my bedroom window and our car was not in the driveway so I really got scared then! I proceeded very slowly down the stairs and could heard my favorite song "I'm yours" playing on my computer. I go into my dining room and there was a beautiful dozen roses and my husband coming around the corner smiling...it was precious. Love can continue after all these years and people can keep surprising you everyday!

My boyfriend and I have only been together 3 months. So for St. Valentines day we just went out to see The Vow and ate cheesecake and made each other a card.

My husband and I agreed not to do anything for Valentines, because it just doesn't feel the same, one of his best friends sadly passed away on Valentines two years ago. While he is not the romantic, I am. I cry at chick flicks, cute animals, babies, etc. We got home at the same time on Valentines, I went about our usually routine, pajamas and then getting dinner ready. When I walked into the kitchen, he had dozen roses, a bottle of wine, two Valentines card (romantic/lovey and Mickey Mouse- (I've always been a Mickey fan), he does the Mickey laugh for me. Yes, I almost cried. I didn't have anything for him, because we agreed not too, but he said he was just as happy to see me smile. Followed by Kisses, hugs, nice dinner and some wine. <3

We had a romantic dinner at home near the fireplace. I received a dozen of roses and candy. Had a great evening. I choose the turquoise leaf necklace by Jennifer Meyer.

We didn't have money for Valentines Day this year, since I'm not working, because we just had a baby in November. I just made a nice dinner & spent the day as a family. There's truly nothing better.
